Katsina State Governor Spotted With His Armored BMW 7 Series Worth ₦600m, Featuring 31-Inch Rear Screen

Katsina State Governor spotted with his armored BMW 7 Series ultra-luxury sedan reportedly worth ₦600 million.

Distinct feature on the outside of BMW 7-Series sedan includes a large grille, which consisting of two elements.

Cabin boasts a curved digital display, which sits atop a 12.3-inch instrument display and 14.9-inch infotainment screen.

Also available is a massive ‘Cinema’ screen, which folds down from the top and offers video streaming via Amazon Fire TV.

Katsina State Governor Dikko Umaru Radda, recently turned up for a wedding ceremony in his brand new armored BMW 7 Series (G70 model) worth over ₦600 million, drawing significant public attention on social media.

In a post sited by Autojosh, an X user, fatimaaaa K criticizes the Governor for the lavish spending amid economic crisis, stating that :

“This car costs ₦600 million. It was purchased by the Governor of Katsina at a time when the state is struggling with severe hunger, especially among young children. At the same time, bandits are imposing taxes on villagers in Malumfashi. Ina tausayi a nan?”

Reacting to fatimaaaa K’s post, Abuja-based car dealer, Aliyu Mohammed, popularly known as Sarkin, noted that the armored BMW 7 Series was gifted to Katsina State Governor, adding that he has the exact spec (likely unarmored) for sale for ₦300m.

“I have this exact spec and color going for 300M brand new and he didn’t buy it, he was gifted,” Sarkin wrote in an X post.

BMW 7 Series

First unveiled in April 2022, the all-new seven-generation of the revamped BMW range-topper is designed to rival German counterparts like the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and Audi A8.

Options available include a massive 31.3 inch, 8K display ‘Cinema’ screen, which folds down from the top. It offers video streaming via Amazon Fire TV in 16:9, 21:9 and 32:9 formats for rear passengers.

Powering the 760i xDrive is a 4.4-liter V8 rated 544 hp and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft), enough to push the base sedan to 62 mph in just 4.2 seconds and an electronic top speed of 155 mph, though this particular BMW will be slower due to its armoring.
