Kang’e Saiti Appointed PwC Senior Partner for Kenya and East Africa

PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) has announced the appointment of Kang’e Saiti as Regional Senior Partner and Country Senior Partner for PricewaterhouseCoopers Kenya.

In a notice dated January 14, 2025, PwC announced Saiti’s appointment effective January 1, 2026.

Kang’e takes over from Peter Ngahu, who led the firm for eight years, guiding it through significant milestones and challenges.

Roles of Saiti at PwC

As Regional Senior Partner, Kang’e Saiti will be responsible for the strategic direction and operational performance of PwC across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Zambia, and Mauritius.

In addition to his regional responsibilities, he will serve as the Country Senior Partner for Kenya, overseeing the firm’s local operations and client services.

Kang’e brings over 28 years of experience in audit and assurance, having worked with clients in Eastern Africa and the United Kingdom.

He is recognized for his strong market knowledge, leadership skills, and commitment to fostering talent within the firm.

Under his guidance, PwC aims to continue expanding its services while maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism.

Kang’e Saiti Profile

Kang’e holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from the University of Nairobi (UON) and is a Certified Public Accountant in Kenya (CPA-K).

Before his appointment, Kang’e served as Assurance Leader for PwC Kenya and Eastern Africa, where he played a key role in driving innovation, improving professional standards, and strengthening client relationships.

His leadership has been instrumental in developing solutions that meet the evolving needs of businesses and communities in the region.

Beyond his work at PwC, Kang’e has contributed to the accounting profession through leadership roles at the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK), helping to shape the future of financial services in the country.

Commenting on his appointment, Saiti thanked Ngahu for his leadership at PwC.
