Alex Iwobi has been named in the 2026 edition of the Football Black List, recognising his impact both on and off the pitch.

The Fulham midfielder earned his place on the prestigious list due to his community work through Project 17, an initiative focused on supporting and inspiring young people.

The Football Black List celebrates influential Black individuals across British football, highlighting contributions from players, coaches, administrators, and community leaders. Endorsed by the Premier League, the initiative specifically recognises individuals of African and Caribbean heritage making meaningful impacts within the game.

Founded in 2008 by Leon Mann MBE and Rodney Hinds, the annual event aims to spotlight role models and encourage the next generation to pursue careers in football, both on and off the field.
