new fantasy books

When I moved to the Pacific Northwest, everyone asked if I was worried about the rain and cold. But in reality, the promise of real seasons and all the gloom and dreariness that comes with them was one of the items listed in my “pro” column when I finally decided to leave California. I love a cold, rainy day snuggled up on the couch with a warm drink and a good book.

Fantasy books provide a welcome escape all year long, but there’s something special about reading them in the fall. When the weather prevents you from leaving your house, fantasy books are the perfect way to pass the time. You can get lost in a magical world, picture yourself as the heroine of the story, and pretend you’re falling in love with a morally grey immortal. Looking for your next fall fantasy? This year, we’re being FED. There is no shortage of new fantasy books to get lost in, and I’ve compiled the ones you absolutely cannot miss. From my own personal recommendation list, as well as from readers on Threads, all of these newly published fantasy books will make this cozy season one you’ll never want to end.
