ISN Exclusive: Musical chairs: Jar looks to move into new office space in Koramangala

Gold savings startup Jar is in the process of finalising a brand new office space in Koramangala, confidential sources privy to the matter told IndianStartupNews (ISN). 

The development coincides with an ongoing Karnataka CID investigation into the company, according to an earlier Moneycontrol report. 

“Jar is taking up the old Pocket FM office in Koramanga,” a source said. 

The new office space, though in the same area, will be a larger space as Jar chalks out expansion plans. 

On May 20, ISN had exclusively reported that Pocket FM was vacating its existing office space to move into the Bellandur campus being vacated by Swiggy, in what appears to be a game of musical chairs in Bengaluru's office market.  

Jar chose not to reply to ISN’s queries. 

Jar is rapidly growing and is on the lookout for a new office space just after being in operation for five years, maturing from a startup to a tech-led company. 

Backed by the likes of Arkam Ventures, Tiger Global and several other notable angels, Jar has raised over $60 million and is valued at over $220 million.
