Indian startups raised over $297 million from July 13 to July 18, 2026; AI startup Emergent tops the list

Emergent

Emergent raised $130 million (about Rs 1,241 crore) in a Series C round led by Creaegis, with MNI Ventures - Claypond Capital and Sentinel Global as co-leads, taking its valuation to $1.5 billion and making it India's newest unicorn. Khosla Ventures, SoftBank Vision Fund 2, Lightspeed and Y Combinator also joined the round.

The Bengaluru startup lets founders and business owners build full-stack, production-ready applications using autonomous AI agents. The startup plans to use the funding for product development, customer acquisition and operations, giving it more than 18 months of runway.

Neo Group

Neo Group raised Rs 350 crore (about $36.31 million) in a round led by Peak XV Partners, its earliest institutional backer since 2023.

The Mumbai-based wealth and asset management firm serves family offices and high-net-worth clients across more than 30 cities, with nearly Rs 3,000 crore in equity capital. The fresh capital will go into talent, technology and new product capabilities as it expands across India.

Rize

Rize raised $31 million (about Rs 296 crore) in a Series B round led by BNP Paribas Asset Management Alts, split between $20 million in equity and $11 million in debt. The Rockefeller Foundation, Temasek, Breakthrough Energy Ventures and lenders including United Overseas Bank and BIDV also took part.

The agritech startup promotes Alternate Wetting and Drying, an irrigation method that cuts methane emissions and water use in rice farming across Vietnam and Indonesia. The money will fund export expansion, AI tools for farmers and a push into new Southeast Asian markets.

Vorflux

Vorflux raised $15 million (about Rs 143 crore) in a seed round from Y Combinator, Peak XV Partners, Powerset and Alliance, with angel investors Parker Conrad, Immad Akhund and Balaji Srinivasan also joining. The startup was founded by Prasanna Sankar, former CTO and co-founder of Rippling.

Vorflux builds an AI "autopilot" for software engineering that can plan, build, test and open pull requests without constant human supervision. It does not build its own AI models, instead assigning tasks across providers based on their strengths.

Quick Clean

Quick Clean raised $14 million (about Rs 134 crore) in a Series B round led by Stakeboat Capital, with existing investors Alkemi Growth Capital and Blue Ashva Capital also participating. It had raised about $5.7 million in its Series A in February 2025.

The Gurugram startup builds and operates on-premise laundry facilities inside hotels and hospitals, running over 140 sites across 38 Indian cities. The new funding will expand its network in India and fund entry into Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

Reo.Dev

Reo.Dev raised $11.3 million (about Rs 108 crore) in a Series A round led by Elevation Capital, with Heavybit, India Quotient, Foster Ventures and new investor Uncorrelated Ventures joining in. The Bengaluru startup builds an AI-native go-to-market platform that reads developer activity like GitHub commits and API calls to spot potential software buyers before a sales team gets involved.

E3 Electric.Ai

E3 Electric.Ai raised Rs 100 crore (about $10.38 million) in a Series A round led by BluVenture Holdings, split between equity and debt. The Bengaluru startup is preparing to launch its E3 TRION electric scooter, built on a modular chassis that allows battery upgrades without a full redesign.

Naturis Cosmetics

Naturis Cosmetics raised Rs 100 crore (about $10.38 million) in its first external funding round, led by Sharrp Ventures with participation from Mirabilis Investment Trust, Anicut Capital and Niveshaay. The Mumbai-based manufacturer supplies brands including Nykaa, Purplle and Pilgrim, and will use the money to build a new production unit in Vapi and an R&D centre in Mumbai.

Groyyo · SwitchOn

Groyyo raised Rs 90 crore (about $9.34 million) in the first close of a planned Rs 200 crore Series B round led by Cornerstone Ventures. The Gurugram startup runs an AI-driven platform connecting fashion brands with apparel manufacturers, and will use the funds to expand its manufacturer network and grow in North America, Europe and the Middle East.

SwitchOn raised $8 million (about Rs 76 crore) in a pre-Series B round led by IvyCap Ventures, with SIG Tattva and Trifecta Capital also joining. The Bengaluru startup builds computer-vision systems that automate quality inspection on factory production lines, and will use the money to expand internationally and deepen its research.

Dhruva Space · Aina · Anmasa

Dhruva Space raised Rs 60 crore (about $6.23 million) from the Antariksh Venture Capital Fund, its first-ever investment, taking the Hyderabad startup's ongoing pre-Series B round to Rs 275 crore. Dhruva Space builds satellites and space infrastructure and holds an order book of more than Rs 500 crore.

Aina raised $5.5 million (about Rs 53 crore) in a seed round led by Redstart Labs and 360 ONE Asset, with Kunal Shah and Razorpay's founders among the individual backers. The Bengaluru and San Francisco startup is building a new hardware interface for interacting with AI agents, and has already shipped its first product, a keypad called Dune.

Anmasa raised Rs 30 crore (about $3.11 million) in a seed round led by Fireside Ventures, with Blume Ventures also joining. The Gurugram startup runs neighbourhood micro-factories that prepare fresh flour, oils and spices only after a customer orders, delivering within 90 minutes.

Aurum PropTech has acquired Locon Solutions, the parent company of real estate portal Housing.com. The deal brings a major property listings platform under Aurum PropTech's portfolio.

PhysicsWallah → Sarrthi IAS

Edtech company PhysicsWallah has acquired Sarrthi IAS, a UPSC exam preparation platform. The deal adds a dedicated civil services coaching business to PhysicsWallah's growing stable of exam-prep brands.

Recode Studios Limited → Aflairza Professionals

Recode Studios Limited has acquired Aflairza Professionals. The deal brings Aflairza's team and operations under Recode Studios' umbrella.
