A bizarre incident in Bihar, India, has gone viral after a young man was caught cutting off the electricity supply to an entire village simply because his girlfriend refused to answer his calls.

In a video making the rounds on social media, the man was seen using pliers to tamper with electric pole wires, plunging the village into darkness.

Eyewitnesses revealed that he acted out of anger after repeated attempts to reach his girlfriend went unanswered.
