India’s travel market is projected to reach 50 million travellers by 2030, driving growth in luxury, business and MICE tourism worldwide.

GOA: India is strengthening its position as one of the world’s fastest-growing travel markets, with outbound travel projected to reach 50 million travellers by 2030 and increasing demand for luxury, business and experience-led journeys.

Against this backdrop, QnA International has announced the 13th Annual MICE India & Luxury Travel (MILT) Congress 2026, which will take place on 23 and 24 July at ITC Grand Goa, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa.

The event is expected to bring together tourism boards, airlines, luxury hospitality brands, destination management companies and travel innovators with influential travel decision-makers from across India. Organisers say the congress has become one of the country’s leading platforms for MICE and luxury travel networking and business development.

According to industry projections, the India travel market is expected to experience significant expansion over the coming years. Luxury and business travel spending is forecast to grow at an annual rate of 12 to 15 per cent, while the Indian MICE segment is expected to reach a value of USD 9 billion.

The two-day congress is designed as an invitation-only business platform focused on generating measurable outcomes rather than traditional networking. The 2026 edition is expected to host more than 150 high-value buyers and over 40 global travel and hospitality brands, facilitating more than 2,000 pre-scheduled one-to-one business meetings.

The agenda will explore key trends shaping the India travel market, including wellness tourism, personalised travel experiences, destination competitiveness, technology integration and large-scale incentive travel programmes.

Sidh NC, Director of QnA International, said India has become a major driver of global travel growth, making strategic engagement with the market increasingly important for international travel brands.

Over the years, the MILT Congress has evolved into a major B2B travel platform connecting tourism authorities, luxury hotel groups, convention bureaus, travel technology providers and corporate travel planners.

As demand continues to grow, the India travel market is expected to play an increasingly influential role in shaping the future of global tourism and business travel.

India travel market is projected to reach 50 million travellers by 2030, boosting luxury, business and MICE tourism growth.
