I’m a Shopping Editor With a Neverending Inbox — Here are 22 New Product Launches You’ll Actually Want to Buy

As a shopping editor, I get infinite emails touting all of the latest and greatest product launches about to hit the market. And sometimes, products are so unique and niche that I don’t have the perfect place to include them. One of my favorite parts of writing and producing our Skimm Shopping newsletter is that I can create fun “grab bag” sections with a mix of everything. Think of this roundup as the long-form version of that. Note: Some of these products have been around, but are new to me.

A high-tech way to feed your pet from afar…

Petlibro’s Granary 2 is a solid way to feed and monitor your pet while you’re away from home. It has precise portion control thanks to its built-in scale and an AI-powered camera that’ll track everything they ate. You can also record your pet or watch a livestream of them 24/7.  If you work in-office full time, this is a must. Use code Skimm15 for 15% off.

An update to Hatch’s sound machine for kids…

For babies, toddlers, and the general early years, this nightlight from Hatch is one of the best relaunches we’ve seen from the brand. The newest key feature: direct access to certified sleep consultants. It comes with built-in soothing sleep sounds, works as a nightlight, and even has light cues to teach them when it’s time to wind down and wake up. You can even record your own bedtime message just for them. We think it’d be pretty incredible for late night feedings, too. Use your FSA/HSA at checkout while you’re at it.

A cult-favorite moisturizer that’s finally back…

After years of customer requests, Glow Recipe just brought back its Banana Soufflé Moisture Cream. It’s a thick cream that’s ideal for reactive, sensitive skin (and it even works wonders on combination-to-oily skin types, too). You can only snag it at Shop, so check it out while it’s still in stock.

A dry shampoo that does just about everything…

This new launch from dpHue has tapioca starch to absorb oil without the extra residue, and tinted pigment to cover grays. It has a powder puff for precise application and it’s a hacky way to cover your roots in between appointments. Pick from six blendable shades.

A cozy pointelle collection from Petite Plume…

I’m a longtime fan of Petite Plume (so much so that I bought all my bridesmaids pajamas from the brand). This pointelle collection launched back in the spring, and after testing it out, I can confirm that it’s cooling, soft, and great if you’re a hot sleeper. The pants are cute enough that you can easily wear them out of the house. I’m already thinking that they’d make for an incredible birthday or holiday gift, too.

A new cleanser from Prequel…

Prequel Gleanser loyalists, this launch is for you. The derm-developed, affordable skincare line just came out with a Pre-Gleanse Balm, aka its own version of a cleansing balm. It’ll dissolve away makeup, SPF, sweat, and more, all while being safe for eczema-prone, sensitive skin. You can even buy it in a bundle with the bestselling cleanser.

A magnetic pouch you can customize…

You might be familiar with Cadence’s Capsule System, but have you ever seen its Parcel System? It’s been around for a bit, but is new to me. It’s a modular organization system you can use to hold toiletries and other small essentials. I love that you can use its magnetic closures to attach the pouches to one another based on your needs. They’re clear, spacious, and wipeable, and I am loving the small one to keep my daily tote organized.

A more affordable way to test out Parachute Home…

I swear by Parachute’s percale sheets, but they’re definitely an investment. Luckily, the bedding and homeware brand is back for a second collaboration with Target, with sheet sets that hover under $200. I’d take advantage by stocking up on these cotton sheets.

An effective serum with a drugstore price…

You don’t need to spend a ton on skincare that works. Bubble’s newest launch is a hydrating serum with hyaluronic acid and peptides. It’s like a glass of water for your skin — it’ll plump, retain moisture, and calm irritation. Plus, it has a lightweight gel texture, so it’s nearly undetectable. The best part? It’s $17.

The Kindle of all Kindles…

Amazon just launched the Kindle Scribe Colorsoft, which is basically somewhere in between an e-reader and a notetaking tablet. It has a full color display and even comes with a stylus, so you can annotate what you’re reading or take copious notes on your own. Whether you’re a big-time reader, going back to school, or looking for a digital notetaking option with minimal distractions, this is the tool for you.

A facial mist for every situation…

Cocokind is expanding its Electrolyte Line, this time with a facial mist. Its fragrance-free Calming Magnesium Mist is ideal for acne-prone, sensitive skin, and you can spray it anytime your skin needs a refresh. I like to apply it before or after a flight, or post-workout (aka when my skin is most vulnerable).

The Gap trousers I can’t stop reaching for…

I’ve been on the hunt for a pair of cotton pants similar to Donni’s and Leset’s, but I didn’t want to spend a ton. I recently found these new pants from Gap and I can’t stop wearing them. They’re the perfect summer soft pants because of their stylish silhouette, and most importantly, I don’t overheat in them. They come in tall and petite lengths, too.

A new launch for matcha fans…

Muracha is a new female-founded, first-harvest matcha brand. Each blend comes from a family-run tea farm in Japan. If you’re looking to up your at-home matcha game, definitely give this a try. Customers rave that it has a smooth, non-bitter taste.

Penny clogs from Rothy’s…

My fiancé and I don’t go a week without wearing our Rothy’s Clogs. On top of being oh so comfortable and easy to care for (just throw them in the wash if they get dirty), they feel chic and easy to wear. With fall on the horizon, Rothy’s just launched The Penny Clog, a hybrid between a clog and a penny loafer. They’ll make every jeans-and-a-tee outfit look that much cooler.

A new collab between Jungalow and Ruggable…

I love Justina Blakeney’s lush, earthy sense of style, and her latest collab with Ruggable means you can easily bring her botanical look into your own home. The collection has nine new designs in a variety of sizes and colorways, all of which are washable. That’s right. If you need to clean your rug, you can just throw it in the wash.

Some custom insoles…

I recently tested out Stride Soles, a Germany-based brand that allows you to get measured for insoles at home. All you have to do is download the app, answer a quick questionnaire, and then use your phone to take a 3D scan of your foot and measure your gait. From there, the brand will make a pair of insoles and ship it directly to you. Genius.

Striped versions of BaubleBar’s custom totes…

Move over, Alex Mill, there’s a new Insta-worthy tote on the market. While BaubleBar has tons of customizable offerings, its totes are spacious, stylish, and in my opinion, underrated. The brand just launched new colorways of its striped styles, all of which are available in three sizes. Each bag has one internal pocket, a snap closure, and a key loop. All you have to do is add your initials.

Papier’s midyear planners are back…

Even if you’ve technically “fallen behind” on staying organized this year, it still isn’t too late. Papier just launched this year’s midyear planners, with spreads from now through the end of the year. You can pick from countless cover designs and add your name or initials, and you can expect monthly at-a-glance views, plus classic weekly spreads, slots for goals, and more.

Glassware that’d make a really fun gift…

Simon Pearce is the registry brand of all registry brands, and while it's known for its stunning vases, don’t forget about its everyday glassware. These Walden glasses aren’t new by any means, but they don’t seem to get the attention they deserve. They’re substantial and simple, yet elegant. You can pick from three sizes, though I’d go for the medium for elevating at-home iced lattes.

Summer-ready hair accessories from Jenny Lemons…

Our editors love Jenny Lemons year-round, but summer is when the brand truly thrives. Its latest Seafood Collection is a lesson in joymaxxing. You can expect hair clips in unique shapes from lobsters to oysters. For any upcoming girls’ trips, these would make for an unexpected but on-theme gift.

The new products from Rhode we’ve all been waiting for…

Just in time for summer, Rhode finally launched a bronzer. Its formulation is similar to the brand’s bestselling Pocket Blush, and comes in eight shades. I love it for its blendability and ease of application. The brand also launched Highlight Milk, a multipurpose luminizer you can apply to your face or body. Founder Hailey Bieber suggests mixing it with your favorite body moisturizer, which I’m definitely planning to try.

And a new blush from a brand our editors swear by…

Our Senior Editor and I have spoken extensively about our love for this Armani highlighter. Since discovering it, I’ve been hooked on the luxury beauty brand, so I’m particularly excited about this Dolci Blush launch. On top of being extra travel-friendly, it has a cream-to-powder formula that lasts. Pick from five shades; I’m currently eyeing the Rose version for a healthy flush.
