Ibom Air denies releasing viral video of passenger being stripped nak3d
Ibom Air has clarified that they did not release the viral video showing a passenger being restrained and partially exposed during a scuffle with crew members and security personnel. According to Aniekan Essienette, Group Manager of Marketing and Communications at Ibom Air, the video was likely recorded by one of the many non-employees on board the plane.
"We do not condone such indecent exposure, and it is unfortunate that the video has gone viral," Essienette stated.
She emphasized that the airline did not release the footage. The incident occurred on a flight from Uyo to Lagos, involving passenger Comfort Emmanson, who allegedly assaulted crew members and security personnel after being asked to switch off her phone.
In her words, "The video was recorded on the plane, but there were several people on board who were not Ibom Air employees. Anyone could have taken it. I can tell you categorically that Ibom Air did not release the video. We do not condone such indecent exposure, and it is unfortunate that the video has gone viral.”
