 A delegation comprising of the Concerned Citizens Forum of Idu-Obosiukwu, Community Development Committee, The paramount ruler and elders of Idu- Obosiukwu community, all in Ogba-Egbema-Ndoni Local government area, today, Wednesday paid a courtesy call on their son, Prince Isaac Umejuru, the honourable commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Rivers State in his Office.Speaking during the call, the various leaders of the delegation reiterated on a single objective of their visit which centers on Umejuru’s loyalty and commitment to his job and principal, the executive Governor of Rivers state, Sir Siminalayi Fubara.The paramount ruler of Idu-Obosiukwu, Chief George Nwokomah in his remark, thanked God for the recognition of their worthy son and also the remembering of their land. He further stated that Umejuru’s appointment seems to be the highest political office held by an indigene of Idu-Obosiukwu, and their allegiance and commitment goes to the executive Governor of

Prince Isaac Umejuru


A delegation comprising of the Concerned Citizens Forum of Idu-Obosiukwu, Community Development Committee, The paramount ruler and

The chairman, concerned citizens’ forum, Sir Clement Umejuru, emphasized on the joy of the people of Idu-Obosiukwu community on the appointment of their son, in the same vein, the chairman of Idu-Obosiukwu Community Development Committee, Orukwo Clifford, expressed how happy the entire community is and also declaring their community’s support for the Sim Fubara led administration.


The Honorable commissioner, Prince Isaac Umejuru in his response, thanked his kinsmen for coming to show their Solidarity and love. Umejuru who said their visit has given him a sense of fulfilment that Idu-Obosiukwu, his home town is with him and he is proud of his people.


The commissioner who reiterated his support for his principal, the executive Governor of Rivers state, says he stands for Justice.


Umejuru urged the community leaders to remain steadfast in heir support for the executive Governor of the state, Sir Sim Fubara and the Speaker of the State house of assembly, Rt. Hon. Edison Ehie, without leaving behind their amiable daughter, the Deputy Governor, Proffessor Ngozi Odu.


As a mark of honor, Umejuru was decorated with wrapper and other items
