“I never arrested your mum” – Toyin Abraham replies X user who accused her of arresting his mother

Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham Ajeyemi has responded to an X user who accused her of detaining his mother.

Taking to the microblogging platform Twitter, now known as X, the tweep claimed that the movie star and box office Queen had detained his mother, urging her to send more cops to arrest everyone.

“Hello, @toyin_abraham1, you will have to dispatch the cops to pick up all of us. “You are extremely shameless.”

Toyin said that he could mistreat everyone and call her names and it would be fine with her, but she draws the line when people curse her children and lie. She added that she never arrested his mother and instead filed a report of cybercrime as a citizen.

“You can abuse and call me names; it’s fine, and as I said, I will accept and take it cos I’m in the public eyes, but cursing kids and lying is what I won’t accept, and lastly, I never and will never arrest anyone’s mother. I made a report on cybercrime as a citizen.
I made my report at cybercrime cos the threat to life and curse and threat on my family were beyond what I can take, as for me, abuse me, insult me please, say anything to me please”.

The Twitter user further revealed how the movie star picked up her mom from her shop at Panti police station and prayed for God to judge her.

“It’s one thing to make a tweet, and you arrest me. It’s another thing to arrest me for not even making a single comment, @toyin_abraham1. You picked my mom up from her shop to Panti police station for something I didn’t even do. God will judge you”.

Toyin replied, “Lying in my head comfortably now, the world won’t see this if I react how, they will say something else. I never arrested your mum. Your friend Ayo was arrested for bullying and cursing and defaming my family, and mum went there saying she won’t leave without him”.

Another tweep, Uchenna, questioned why the movie star deleted some of her tweets, and she replied, making it known that he had explained to her and there was no need to beat around the bush.

“I just deleted it cos he has explained to me, and there is no need to beat around the bus, so what’s the big deal?”.
