Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie is eager to cap a remarkable debut season in England with silverware as Brighton & Hove Albion prepare to face Manchester City Women in the Women’s FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium on Sunday.

The Nigerian international has enjoyed an outstanding first campaign with Brighton & Hove Albion Women since arriving from Paris FC Women last summer, quickly establishing herself as one of the standout goalkeepers in the Women’s Super League.

Nnadozie’s consistent displays between the posts earned her a place in the league’s Team of the Season after keeping six clean sheets in 19 appearances.

Her performances have been crucial to Brighton’s impressive campaign under head coach Dario Vidosic, helping the Seagulls secure a top-half finish.

The 25-year-old has also played a pivotal role in Brighton’s impressive run to the FA Cup final, delivering a series of match-winning performances. “I can’t wait to play at Wembley. So excited. I can’t wait — bring it on. It’s super amazing. This team has been through a lot this season and we’ve worked hard to get here. We deserve it,” Nnadozie said.
