A Nigerian woman identified as Vivien Adaeze has responded to people who have been urging her to shave off her beard.

Taking to social media, Vivien made it clear that she has no plans to alter her appearance, stating that she is comfortable with how she looks.

According to her, she considers her beard part of her identity and does not want to change it to satisfy the expectations of others.

Sharing her thoughts in a post, she wrote:

“Everybody is begging me to remove my beards but I have kwecheried.

I cannot allow my identity as a Wicked Igbo Woman be tampered with.

Ladies and Gentleman that I am.”
