When you get to the room, switch off the lights and turn on your phone camera then go round the room like you're making a video.

If there's any hidden cameras inside the room, your phone camera will detect it. You'll notice a tiny red light or any color. 

Note: Always search your hotel room immediately you lodge in, especially the bathroom and bed.
