“How I Discovered My Call To Business” — Didi-Omah Augustine Chinazaekpere

I am blessed to start my business at the age of 16 years old during my secondary school education. Being a hero at youthful age is great, set you to achieve more better breakforths and expand quickly with furious! But it is tough to attain. That is why you hardly see youths become really great at the youthful age. Distractions up and down, they want to have social life.

Anyone that is hungry to have social life at the age of 20 years to 30 years old, and extending to 35 years old; never attain greatness quickly. Being wealthy at 65 years is never an achievement in real sense, let us tell ourselves the truth. Now I am a Christian right: the Holy Scriptures said, youths resist from lustful thoughts, and flee from fornication. Executive, that is to say, we as youths should never entertain lust in our hearts. And not to fight with fornication but to run from it!

But now, most youths are proven to the strong in resisting naked women. Which eventually they fall because they were loose. When the Wisdom Book said, run from fornication. You decided to stand and see if her nakedness will turn you on! Funny, we can't take fire on our shirt and not get burned. It is very impossible. 

The heart is an engine room of our lives. Everything begins from inside, the seed have tree inside of it, that's why when given an environment to grow — the tree shoot out from that tiny seed you were looking at. No tree is grown from roots, all trees have a small seed that birth them. That is to say, the soil did not bring the tree, the seed did, because the tree was inside it not the soil.

That's how it goes to human. Our purpose is in us, our prosperity is in us — we just need an environment to shoot it out for the world to see. My prosperity is not in any geographical area, my purpose is not in any given place — but in me. When we are given the right environment and resources — it will spring out just like the seed. The heart is what birth actions, even the name will tell you. He Art — that is to say, he design, he illustrate, he create — what will be. 

Today, I am a businessman, not because I desired to be. But because naturally, I am into business by default, which we can say in Christianity by divine. When we were at Rumueme, I do organise vigils, and it was like, Didi-Omah will own a church — right! But as we moved to Zion International High School: destiny began to shape itself up, when Rev. Dr. Bob Joshua, will be teaching us on destiny and success. I began to see different talents within me but it's only last for short periods. 

From story writing, to critical thinking, to deep researching, to music composing and singing. Yes, I can compose music originally and sing — it is in me, without struggling but it is not regularly, it has a mode to be active in me before it occurs. Now, business ideas and love for business pushed out from around my JSS 2, this one, always — whether sleeping, eating, talking or whatever — just bring the tip, I will finish the paper with different business models and ideas relating to it. 

Then it became part of me, with no one telling me what to do. The spirit in me, will tell me, study Facebook Business Model, study this company and that company; copy their governance and plot out yours. I will just follow, smiling and feeling this joy to own a company. I will used my mother's phone and search it. I became more concerned about running a business than ever. From Zion International High School, I bought a long notes, that I wrote about more than 200 businesses I wanted to build. Just in around JSS 3, I believe so, or maybe JSS 2 to JSS 3. 

Executive, because I am good at teaching the scriptures and filled with the Word of knowledge — doesn't make me to move into ministry. Bishop David Oyedepo once preached, saying, because you are good at something doesn't mean it is your calling. You need to know your calling, and keep seeking your path in the field of play — until you find it and it becomes a strong effective desire in you, then you deserve it. If you don't desire it, you don't deserve it!

That is saying, what you do not desire, you do not deserve it. I never attended any business school, never attended any financial conference, never watch any online. Just spirit prompting and me doing the research, and documenting any ideas that comes to play in my heart. My brain began to think more of business because the heart is full of it. I try many times to divert into something ministry because I wanted to oversees one; I was warned by a madman at Ekowe, Bayelsa State, Nigeria. 

“You are the light of the world, don't force yourself to speak in tongues, through you, many shall be empowered. Keep doing the business”

— I can remembered that was among his words to me, but I have met him many times, he also delivered messages to me, after lectures or during the weekends. Like these words guide me through. Now I speak in tongues not by force nor learning it, spirit prompting. I keep swimming in the business sea as usual from childhood, freely than ever and the desire keep increasing stronger than before.

I never pray for it, never fasted for it, never thought of it. My life from childhood was a moving train. I wanted to be a musician, changed to be medical doctor, later changed to be a biologist, later changed to be a geography engineer, later changed to be computer professional programmer. I never for one day, choose to be a businessman, never! But even if I run to ministry today, I will still end up turning into a full-time businessman, leaving the ministry in the hand of someone else. It happens even in our time as of old.

What you are not call for, leave it and focus on the field you are called into. Let every man abide in his field where is he call to, and serve the LORD! That was Apostle Paul's message. So even businessman can serve God through his business not necessarily to own a church. Because you have the knowledge of the truth in you, you can teach the scriptures with clarity and understanding — does not mean you should move into ministry. Except you are called into it! 

Or else you will struggle financially, you will fall, and you will fade away — being irrelevant in the world even as you are alive. Except God shows you mercy and grace — and bet me, it won't be easy for you to access that mercy and grace. Because you are diverting into another purpose not originally designed for you. Jesus Christ said for this purpose the son of man is come. That is to say, everyone has a purpose he is come to carry out in our world. Either by divine vision, natural inbuilt, or strong desire from the heart — these three are what create purpose for us here on earth. 

Some might be from God, others are from their talents — Jesus Christ taught about talents giving, others can be desires — just like Nehemiah desire that Jerusalem be built and that became his purpose on earth. Through divine, talent, or desire — you and I can get our call or vision or purpose on earth. Executive. When the Spirit of Truth prompted me at my early teenage age, Didi-Omah build your companies headquartered in Egbeda, Emohua Local Government. I told my mother, yes, she is aware of it, then I was in secondary school.

Like Dr. Myles Munroe said “The greatest tragedy in life is not death but is life without a purpose”. Executive, I don't know how to say it out, there is this strong fire burning in me towards business naturally than anything, than ministry. Even God knows it! Abraham was called into business, and he served the Lord and was a blessing to the nations. Isaac was called into business, and keep prospering. Jacob the same thing, and made increase even in his uncle's farm.

When the purpose of your creation is in you, you don't learn about it. It shoot out from you naturally when you arrive at the right environment. Like I usually said, Zion International High School is the school that brings the best in me for my calling to spring out, and me to loves Jesus Christ more. My parents were the very first foundation for a Christian growth and destiny pathfinding; thanks to my magnificent father, Engr. Omah John Didi. My mother, the next one that handled the Christian growth in me, thanks to my marvellous mother, Mrs. Didi-Omah Charity Chikodi.

The original primary source for my business mindset is gotten from Proverbs and Ecclesiastes. How? You asked. My father like I just mentioned his name, had this Good News Bible with yellow cover — this version has illustrations of passage like in form of 2D pictures. He gave me that Bible when we were at Rumueme, then I was in Primary 5, to be reading at home.

I only open Proverbs and Ecclesiastes always, because of the illustrations. I have to read the Proverbs and Ecclesiastes over and over and over and over and over and over again! Until my head was filled with knowledge and words from Proverbs and Ecclesiastes. I will preach and talk and teach from there. Then I bought a book to start writing what I am learning — to myself, I was writing names of companies I want to own. How?

My mother took the long note one day, and said “Chinaza, you want to be have all these companies”, and I answered “yes mummy” at around JSS 2 to JSS 3, she asked that. I naturally began to create original brand names that never existed before. You will not hear the names, if it existed, it will be said, Didi-Omah owns the brand and company. Like Raphant International, JCF (Jesus Christ Foundation), An'nest Group, Wordsdom Group, WayStamp ..., Givess Worldwide, doac Invest. — should I continue. 

You can all see that names migration and purely original no photocopy. The spirit taught me branding, revealed ideas and name that are unique and great. My stolen laptop contains documents of natural ideas that when executed, we are the first to invent or roll out that product or feature or service. So why should I then move without God's Word and directions. I am professionally a businessman. 

I began to study histories of businesses and individuals in business that made it successful. Every cartoon I watched turns into my mind as an idea to create something unique as I was growing up! And I was writing them down. Till date I keeps watching cartoons. If I have challenges with something, I will write how to solve it, and write a detailed company to handle the solution and sell it out. Then AI was not rampant, I was using Google search, Wikipedia and WikiHow. Wikipedia is my primary source for historical information, Google search my research assistant, WikiHow my how-to source.

That was how I learnt I be a millionaire doing writing but never takes it seriously until my SS 2 to SS 3. I have promised to walk on the path of business and serve God as instructed by the Word. So I never ventured into business because someone saw it, and said you are called into "business and charity". I have burning strong desires to help poor people natural through my business, from my studies from Proverbs and Ecclesiastes effectively. 

So God using three persons and a vision to me, to tell me He put me in business and empowering people — is a confirmation of His Will. Because when God repeats a word more than one times, He meant it, and when He has repeated that same one like three to four times, just know that, that is crucial and very important, and He is serious about it. When you search the Scriptures: there are words that God repeated many times, and those words like the "Just shall live by his faith", "fear not", "I am with you", they are many words repeated in the Bible said by God. That is to say, Adonay meant those words, and He is repeating them to our hearing, that He is at it.

Executive, professionally I am a businessman. Investment and industries are under the umbrella of business. Digital entrepreneur is under business. Business is business, no matter the branches. Commercial farming is under business, but it is a branch called agri-business. That's it! Naturally born with business in me, never struggle to fly or walk or swim in the area of business. The vision is bigger and stronger than financial potentials. The desire to own businesses keep me awake from sleep at nights from my age of 12 years even now. Everything about my destiny and meaningful life started at the age of 12 years old in Rumueme, Rivers State, Nigeria.
