The undeterred Iyom Obi flagged off the First and Second Phases of Idemili South Skill Acquisition Programme where more than 500 Youths drawn from the 7 communities of Idemili South were adequately trained and equipped with relevant facilities necessary for help to become self-reliant and useful to themselves and society at large.

Consequently, she launched Idemili South Free Medical Outreach which saw trained Doctors and Health Practitioners attended to more than 1000 patients where l free check-up, medication and eye lenses were administered at no cost.

Most markets within Idemili South council area have been barricaded courtesy of the visionary and pragmatic leadership of Hon Amaka Obi to improve the aesthetic view of the markets and equally forestall loss of lives in event of road traffic accident.

The media publication being circulated by misguided elements with sole aim of tarnishing her good image is unwarranted, unsolicited and uncalled for.

Hon Iyom Amaka Obi has indeed paid her dues heavily in ensuring that Ndi Idemili South experience a breath of fresh air in all facets of infrastructure & human capital developments and nothing will distract her in doing more for the people.
