A masquerade commonly known as Ekpo has been knocked down and k!lled by a hit-and-run driver in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.   A journalist, Harrison Essien, who disclosed this on Monday evening, December 22, 2025 said the incident occurred when a speeding driver attempted to avoid another vehicle on the road and struck the masquerade in the process.  The body of the Ekpo lies along Usung Obio Ekpo road.   The identity of the masquerade remains unknown at the time of filing this report.   The post Hit-and-run driver k!lls masquerade in Akwa Ibom appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
