Manchester United centre-back Harry Maguire has won the Premier League Player of the Month award for November, according to many reports.

He defeated top players such as Man City’s Doku and Chelsea’s Raheem Sterling to win the award.

Maguire has enjoyed a comeback season at Manchester United after being deemed surplus to requirements by Erik ten Hag.

Maguire was set to join West Ham in the summer, but the deal fell through due to a disagreement over personal terms, and he ended up staying at Old Trafford past the end of the transfer window.

Maguire was written off after losing his place and club captaincy last season, but he has since won his place back after Ten Hag explained that he offered more tactical balance than Raphael Varane following Lisandro Martnez’s injury.

After playing every minute of every Premier League game in November, Maguire has now been named Premier League Player of the Month for his performances against Fulham, Luton, and Everton without conceding a single goal.

Fans on social media are delighted for him amid his resurgence in the side, with one on X saying: “That’s incredible… You have to be a terrible person if you’re not happy this man is having a redemption.”

“This should motivate all of you. He was insulted, and almost forced to leave Manchester United but here he is today. He has always been a solid player and will start in any premier league team if properly managed,” added a second.

“Well deserved award for the best centre-back in the Premier League this season,” a third said.

“Well deserved. Always said he’s nowhere near what people make out on here. Very solid defender. Plays best in a team not constantly on the front foot but really stepped up and shown leadership the past few weeks. Long may it continue,” a fourth added.
