Grizzled Young Veterans attack FTR again, are ‘here to stay in AEW’

At last weekend’s AEW All In London 2024 pay-per-view, the Grizzled Young Veterans made headlines when they crashed the Young Bucks world tag team title celebration and laid out FTR. Zack Gibson & James Drake (fka Rip Fowler & Jagger Reid) were up to no good once again on tonight’s (Aug. 31) episode of Collision, attacking Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler after the babyfaces defeated The Kingdom in a tag team match. That’s two attacks on FTR in the span of one week for the Grizzled Young Vets. GYV cut a promo over FTR’s bodies this time, declaring that AEW is where the best wrestle, so that’s why they are “here to stay.” They have been compared to FTR for years and forced to live in their shadow.
