Governor Eno appoints Aity Dennis Special Adviser for Creative Industry

The Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umoh Eno has approved the appointment of multiple award winning and internationally acclaimed Gospel Music icon, Dr. Aity Dennis-Inyang, popularly known Aity Dennis, as his Special Adviser (for Creative Industry), for Akwa Ibom State.

The appointment which took effect from 1st November, 2025, was announced by the Governor In a letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Prince Enobong Uwah, the appointee is enjoined to abide by the Code of Conduct prescribed for Public Officers as set out by the Federal Government in the Constitution of 1999 (as amended).

Aity Dennis-Inyang is a globally recognised music artiste and cultural ambassador of Akwa Ibom State known for integrating Akwa Ibom indigenous languages into her songs. With over 4000 songs to her credit, she has served as the artiste manager for the annual Akwa Ibom State Christmas Carols Festival for over a decade.

She brings to her position over 30 years experience in the Media, Music and Movies.

Mrs. Aity Dennis-Inyang holds a First degree in French Language, a Masters Degree in Mass Communcation and a Doctorate in Christian Leadership (Honoris Causa).

In her reaction, Aity Dennis thanked God for His divine promotion. She vowed to continue in her utmost service of God to His glory. Aity Dennis also thank Governor Eno for giving her the opportunity to serve in his administration as Honourary Special Adviser on Creative Industry.

She said , “It’s a privilege to serve to serve her state and contribute to the realization of the Arise agenda”. The energetic, versatile vivacious and amazingly awesomely talented Gospel artiste, author and dancer, dedicated the appointment to her fans worldwide for their love for her, she described as “Jesus girl”.
