Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, has paid glowing tribute to the National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, as the former EFCC chairman marks his 65th birthday, describing him as one of Nigeria’s finest examples of integrity, loyalty, and public service.

In a heartfelt message titled “Mallam Nuhu Ribadu at 65: A Brother, A Beacon, A Blessing to Nigeria,” Governor Sani said Ribadu’s life continues to inspire trust and admiration across the country, adding that his own relationship with the NSA goes far beyond politics or official collaboration.

The governor praised Ribadu as a man whose journey still “stirs something deep within the soul,” noting that his personal and professional guidance has strengthened his leadership, particularly during times of security tension and political uncertainty in Kaduna State.

Governor Sani described Ribadu as a rare public servant who embodies duty and discipline, echoing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s recent description of him as a “principled reformer” and “steadfast defender of Nigeria.” He highlighted Ribadu’s landmark years as the pioneer chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), where he confronted corruption “with unmatched resolve,” and commended his current efforts as National Security Adviser, a role in which he said Ribadu continues to demonstrate courage, strategic clarity, and unwavering commitment to stabilising the nation.

Beyond his official roles, Governor Sani emphasised Ribadu’s humility and quiet strength, describing him as a man who avoids fanfare, prefers to work behind the scenes, and seeks no applause despite monumental contributions. “He is happiest not at the centre of attention, but in service; working, planning, securing, reforming,” he said.

The governor also acknowledged Ribadu’s steadfast support for Kaduna State, noting that the NSA has played an instrumental role in ongoing efforts to tackle insecurity across the region. “His door has never been closed—not once,” Sani stated, adding that Ribadu’s interventions have brought calm during tense moments and clarity when leadership carried heavy burdens.

Senator Sani further praised Ribadu’s long-standing loyalty to friends, institutions, and President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, describing him as a man who practices “pure commitment” without double-speak or wavering.

As Ribadu celebrates his 65th year, Governor Sani said he honours not just the public figure but the man—courageous, humble, disciplined, patriotic, and fiercely loyal. He prayed for Allah to bless him with long life and strength, noting that “Nigeria still needs him. I still need him. And history will forever honour him.”

The tribute adds to the nationwide commendations marking Ribadu’s milestone, underscoring his influence on Nigeria’s security landscape and his reputation as one of the country’s most respected anti-corruption and national security figures.
