GOV ORTOM KNOCKS PARTY LEADERSHIP OVER INJUSTICE ON WIKE

Governor Samuel Ortom, of Benue State has described the crisis rocking the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party, as unhealthy as the leadership has failed to deploy its internal conflict management mechanism to solve the problems.

Governor Ortom stated this during an expanded stakeholders meeting held in government house, Makurdi, where he berated the leadership of the party for the injustices meted out on his counterpart, the Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike.

Governor Ortom's who expresses worries over the fate of the party ahead of the 2023 general election, says if nothing is done to address the lingering crisis it may undermine the Chances of the party.

He further called on the leadership of the party to seek ways to resolve the crisis in its quest to wrestle power from the opposition party as dismissing the Rivers State Governor who have always stood for the interest of the party will be dangerous.
