Golden Eaglets skipper Simon Cletus has been named the official Man of the Match for the goalless draw with Burkina Faso today.

The Mavlon FC midfielder caught the eye with his creativity and assured display in the heart of the Eaglets midfield.

The SS1 student carved a glorious chance for his team after 26 minutes which was not put away and he himself could have found the back of the net on 65 minutes, but he chose to pass inside the box.

‘Dada’ was a fringe player at last year’s U17 AFCON in Algeria.
