He was admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya in 1975 and has over four decades of extensive legal experience.

Fred was born during the early days of Kenya’s transition to independence and attended DB Bar School in Nairobi, now Dr. Aggrey Primary School and completed his early and junior studies there.

He proceeded to Pumwani Secondary School in Nairobi for his secondary studies and later attended Strathmore College for his advanced-level education.

He is the son of the late Silvanus Ojiambo and Hellena Ojiambo and has had at least two brothers, the late Steve Ojiambo and Allie Ojiambo.

Ojiambo is related to the prominent Ojiambo family of Busia, which includes pioneering figures such as Prof. Julia Ojiambo, the first Kenyan woman to earn a PhD and serve as an Assistant Minister, and the late Prof. Hillary Ojiambo, a renowned cardiologist.
