Ford Taking It's Coyote V8 To The Next Level

Ford's Coyote V8 has been around quite a while, and it has proven itself to be an extremely flexible engine. Not only does it and its derivatives power the hottest Mustangs, but it also provides power for Ford's literal workhorse, the F-150 pickup. Even the company's newer, more powerful turbocharged EcoBoost V6 didn't eliminate the V8 from the truck's option list. Now, Ford is going to put the Coyote platform to the ultimate test against race cars from the world's most serious sports car builders.
