Video director TG Omori says as he reveals the cause of his kidney transplant

Nigerian music video director ThankGod Omori Smith, popularly known as TG Omori, recently took to social media to share more details about his ongoing battle with health challenges following a kidney transplant.

Earlier, TG Omori revealed that he had received a kidney donation from his only brother after losing both of his biological kidneys. In a heartfelt post on his verified X (formerly Twitter) account, he expressed his gratitude, writing, “Yesterday, my only brother gave me one of his kidneys so I could live again.”

In a more recent update shared on August 28th, 2024, TG Omori disclosed that he had been rushed into the theatre and intensive care unit (ICU) three times in one day, emphasizing that it was not his time to die. His message has drawn concern and prayers from fans and followers, who continue to support him during this challenging time.

He said; “Went into this theater 3times, wasn’t just destined to die today.”

TG Omori revealed that his kidney issues were caused by consuming fake drinks, stating that he spent most of the year in the hospital because of them.

He tweeted; “It is all fun and jokes, but fake drinks left me hospitalized most part of this year.”
