The Nigerian music industry is gearing up for a thrilling ride in the second half of 2024, with a slew of talented artists set to release highly anticipated projects.

From seasoned veterans to rising stars, the lineup is diverse and promising, showcasing the best of Afrobeats, Afro-pop, and other genres.

Following a slow start, the first quarter saw a resurgence of activity, with notable releases from Ayra Starr, Tems, Victony, and Simi. As the second half of the year commences, the pace is expected to quicken, with several high-profile releases lined up.

Meanwhile, leading the charge in July are Rema, with his sophomore album He Is, and Chike, who will be dropping his third album Son of Chike. Asake, fresh from announcing his summer Lungu Boy tour, will precede the tour with the release of the Lungu Boy album, his third in as many years. Fireboy DML is also set to unleash his fourth album, which has already been teased with singles like Everyday and Obaasima.
