Eric Omondi Begs Kenyans to Help Him Find His Viral Lookalike

Renowned comedian Eric Omondi has reacted to a video of a man who closely resembles him. In a message shared on his Facebook and Instagram accounts on Friday, 24th, the vocal comic appealed to Kenyans to help him find his lookalike, who has gone viral on social media.

The self-proclaimed President of African Comedy further stated that if he finds the man, they will work alternately — with him handling the Sisi kwa Sisi initiative while his lookalike engages in demonstrations with Kenyans.

“Haki mnisaidie kupata huyu, at least tukue wawili — nikifanya Sisi kwa Sisi, yeye aende Maandamano. (Please help me find this guy so that at least we can be two — when I’m doing Sisi kwa Sisi, he can go for the demonstrations)” said Eric Omondi.

According to a video seen by Times Digital Kenya, the man alleged to be Eric Omondi’s lookalike was having an ordinary day, enjoying a meal at a local kiosk, before his striking resemblance to the comedian stole the show. Onlookers quickly began recording him, claiming that he was indeed Eric Omondi’s lookalike.

When given a chance to speak, the man revealed that he had been trying to reach Eric Omondi for a long time without success. He added that he would be delighted to meet the popular comedian someday. The man hails from Githurai 45 in Kiambu County. His video has since gone viral on social media platforms.

“Hi Eric Omondi, I am your brother. I have tried to look for him several times but in vain. In case we meet, I’ll be very happy,” the man said.

While reacting to Eric Omondi’s post, netizens were amazed by the comedian’s striking resemblance to the young man.
