Ekwunife Celebrates Igwe Robert Eze at 90, Appreciates Prestigious Ifekaolaedo Chieftaincy Title

The President of the Global Women Council for Political and Parliamentary Leaders Senator Uche Ekwunife, CON has congratulated the Traditional Ruler of Ukpo Kingdom and Eze Dunukofia, Igwe Dr. Robert Chukwudilim Eze, on the occasion of his 90th birthday, describing him as a royal father whose life embodies wisdom, unity, discipline, and selfless service. 

Ekwunife noted that the monarch’s remarkable journey as a scholar, medical practitioner, former military officer, community builder, and custodian of culture has left an enduring legacy across Ukpo, Dunukofia, Anambra State, and beyond.

In a goodwill message issued to commemorate the monarch’s 90th birthday anniversary, Ekwunife praised Igwe Robert Eze’s 35-year reign as Okofia VI, highlighting his contributions to education, peacebuilding, cultural preservation, and community development. 

She commended the revered monarch for sustaining Ukpo’s status as a beacon of unity within the Dunukofia Clan and for his commitment to promoting harmony, hard work, and progress among his people. According to her, the royal father’s exemplary leadership and dedication to the welfare of his subjects have continued to build trust and massive support around him.

Ekwunife also used the opportunity to express profound appreciation to the monarch for conferring on her the prestigious chieftaincy title of Ifekaolaedo, which she described as one of the most cherished honours of her public service career. She stated that the title remains a treasured recognition of her contributions to the development of Ukpo and the empowerment of its people during her tenure in the House of Representatives and the Senate. 

Ekwunife offered prayers for divine protection and the continued sustenance of peace, unity, and progress in Ukpo Community and the entire Dunukofia Local Government Area. She also invoked God’s abundant blessings upon the revered monarch, wishing him many more years of good health, peace, strength, wisdom, and fulfillment as he continues to provide exemplary leadership and fatherly guidance to his people with distinction and grace.
