Ekiti 2026: PDP’ll Ensure Level Playing Ground for All Aspirants – Arapaja Assures Guber Aspirant, Wole Oluyede

The Deputy National Chairman (South) of the People’s Democratic Party, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja has assured that the party will ensure a level play ground for all the aspirants jostling to clintch the ticket for the gubernatorial election slated for October, 2026 in Ekiti State.

Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja gave the assurance while hosting one of the aspirants under the platform of the party in Ekiti, Mr. Wole Oluyede who visited him at his Felele residence this morning.

Arapaja disclosed that what the party needs is somebody who has the charisma to deliver good governance that the people need as it is presently being enjoyed in Oyo State under Governor Seyi Makinde and other states being controlled by the PDP.

He stressed that the party will ensure a free, fair and rancour free primary that whoever that emerges will be supported by other aspirants towards ensuring victory for the party in the election.

Arapaja who wished Mr Oluyede well in his ambition, stressed that he has what it takes to become the next governor of Ekiti State.

Earlier in his speech, Mr Wole Oluyede said his visit to Ambassador Arapaja’s house is to solicit his support for his aspiration as one the party’s leaders for the South including Ekiti State and to thank him for what he has been doing to stabilize the party.

Speaking on his aspiration to govern Ekiti State, Mr Oluyede noted that there is an urgent need to replicate what Oyo State is witnessing under Governor Seyi Makinde in terms of wonderful jobs he is doing on road infrastructure, educational, workers’ welfare and so on which can only be delivered by PDP led government.

Oluyede who expressed optimism to clintch the party ticket in the upcoming primary election to pick the candidate, hinted that he is desirous to make good governance happens in Ekiti State when elected.
