Easter 2026: Dr. Bakari Girei Calls for Sacrifice, Unity, ‘New Beginnings’ in Soul-Stirring Message to Adamawa

Prominent educationist and public servant Dr. Salihu Bakari Girei has released an Easter message calling for sacrifice, unity and fresh beginnings in Adamawa State.

The message, issued through the Adamawa Transformation Mission (SBG), provide strong Easter symbolism.

“As we celebrate this season of sacrifice, love, and new beginnings,” the message reads, “may it inspire us all to believe again in our communities, in our shared dreams, and in the promise of a brighter tomorrow for Adamawa State.

“May this season fill your homes with peace, your hearts with hope, and our land with renewed purpose.”

Dr. Girei brings extensive experience to the political space. He served as Executive Chairman of the Adamawa State Universal Basic Education Board (ADSUBEB), Commissioner for Local Government Affairs, Commissioner for Higher Education, and Director of Research and Development at the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund).

As Adamawa’s political activities intensify, Dr. Girei’s Easter message has sparked widespread discussion. Many residents view it as a call for unity and purposeful leadership ahead of the 2027 polls.
