Donald Trump Calls for Death Penalty for Charlie Kirk K-ller in Utah

U.S. President Donald Trump has declared that Tyler Robison, the man accused of fatally shooting conservative activist Charlie Kirk, should face the death penalty if convicted.

The incident occurred just days ago while Kirk was delivering a speech at Utah University, leaving the political world in shock.

Capital punishment is legal in Utah and can be carried out through lethal injection or firing squad. However, legal experts note that Robison’s case will undergo a lengthy judicial process before any final sentencing decision is made.

Despite this, both Trump and Utah Governor Spencer Cox have publicly voiced their support for pursuing the maximum penalty.

Speaking to TMZ, former Utah County Attorney David O. Leavitt explained that the decision lies with Jeffrey Gray, the current county attorney, who will be under immense pressure to seek the death penalty given the high-profile nature of the case.
