Maturity and understanding are needed in any relationship. We need to accept that people don't think and feel the same.

With our experiences in life, our perception and outlook changes. Things that matter much to us slowly don't bother us anymore. We learn that things will happen, plans might not work, and others might act in specific ways that we disapprove of, but instead of being sad and miserable, we learn to accept it. We embrace many situations in life and ignore even people who try to prove us wrong because we realise our mental peace is more important than anything that may disturb it.

If you are involved in a conflicting situation, take a breath and be the quiet one. Once it is over, you can have a gentle conversation, but if you don’t see worth in it, you may even ignore it.
