Difference between copyright, trademark, and patent in a simple English

Difference between copyright, trademark, and patent in a simple English:

1. COPYRIGHT:

Protects creative works. Like your music, photos, videos, books, movies, art, or even your TikTok content.

If you create it, you own it, automatically.

2. TRADEMARK:

Protects your brand identity.

Your business name, logo, or slogan.

It’s what makes “Pepsi” different from “Coke,” and “Stella Justice” different from “other lawyers.”

3. PATENT:

Protects inventions.

If you invent something new, like a machine, formula, or process, patent keeps others from copying it.

So in summary;

Copyright: protects what you create.

Trademark: protects how you brand.

Patent: protects what you invent.
