Didi-Omah: If You Are 20 to 30 Years, Know This So You Won't Waste Time On Earth

It is wisdom that young people to invest in their time, energy and resources wisely and serve their creator in the time of their youth effectively. I remembered when we were growing up, my amazing dad, usually tells us. To focus on our education, get relevant knowledge — he will put it this way. 

'My children, forget about money, forget about the things you are seeing now. Your mates are working and making money, it is good. But at this your age, you have nothing to bother about, you are not feeding anyone. So study your books, get relevant knowledge in your field. When you will start implementing, start taking actions. The money you will be making in a day, those that have been working for two years have not made it in their two years of working'. 

And I have seen the results in my life. I took time to educate myself on marriage and family, training children, sales and marketing, servant-leadership, corporate governmence, the scriptures, investments, industries, politics and government, industrialization, localisation and people, etc., all these before my 25 years old. From books, meetings, conferences, gatherings, interviews, researches, and from God through the Bible.

There are four stages in man's life, the morning stage, from 0-25 years old. The afternoon stage, from 26-50 years old. The evening stage, from 51-75 years old. The night stage, from 75-100 years old.

The morning stage of man, 0-25 years old. It is the foundation of man's life on earth. You can make mistakes, and correct immediately, and it will have no effect. You are still young, at the morning stage, you can be playing around and fix yourself before your 25 years old, and no effects on you. 

But as a wise person, it is recommended you start investing in education and knowledge on yourself at that stage. Leave that girl, leave that boy — build yourself. Because at your 20 years old, you are responsible for the outcome of your life, and responsible and countable for your stand with God.

What should I do? First serve your creator effectively, know him and have the knowledge of God dwelling in you. Be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. Walk with God in obedience and by faith. Believe in Jesus Christ, love him wholeheartedly and keeps his commandments. It is not about being dedicated to church, it is your walk with God. 

And still from 0-25 years, get relevant knowledge, know who you are, and start working towards it. I am a businessman, industrialist, investor and a Christian. Outside these fields, you can never see me, playing hard on areas I am not called on. How can I be playing politics, when I am a businessman, I will lose and be lost in the world. 

You are in this morning stage, I know you can be playing around, and still get fixed with wisdom. But leave that circle that is not improving your life. Leave that relationship that will not land you into beautiful marriage and help you achieve your vision. Focus on your self, lose friends if possible it happens. Don't worry, you are not losing yourself, you are building yourself.

Because no seed bear new plant, without breaking in the soil, in darkness under the ground. You only appreciate the plant, you don't know that the main works starts from the underground. So you are a seed in the underground. Break yourself if possible, and build up gradually, little by little. 

The morning stage, 0-25 years old. It is investing in knowledge and your relationship with God. Then we have the afternoon stage, from 26-50 years old. This is the implementation stage, the action age. Just like serving someone in a skill or business, and being given freedom and settlement at 25 years old; then you have to begin your life at 26 years old. You are free to enter in relationship to marriage at this stage, because before your 30 years, you will marry your partner.

At age 18 years old of my life, I planned my age. So currently I am in the apprentice age. I'm 23 years old, 2025. By 2026, I will be 24 years old, I have been broke, I have experience financial lack, I have explained rejections, I have experience loneliness and late nights. Not bothered, because I know I am building from the foundation. Attend Christian gatherings, studying my Bible, watch teachings of Bishop David Oyedepo, Apostle Joshua Selman, Pastor E.A. Adeboye and many others. 

Also read biographies and histories of great organisations, companies, products, services, governments, persons, etc., also watch interviews of founders, creators, and Chief executives — from Microsoft, Facebook, Telegram, TikTok, OpenAI, ScaleAI, Canva, Dangote Group, UBA Group, Ecobank Group, to others, from all fields and industries — including Zara, Filla, Gucci and others.

I study deeply into humanity and charity. Agriculture, agribusiness, shares, stocks, Christianity, marriage, family, child/children training, etc., I have to be trained, so I will not be trashed out! At this implementing and executing stage, don't focus on money, focus on the people, your growth, and raise people along with you. Because you are not going to be there forever, you will pass that stage. Life is a journey and time is a process — don't let the enjoyment and prosperity blind you. Be wise and be careful for nothing!

Train yourself, so you will not be trash away. It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth. (Lamentations 3 vs. 27). From 26-50 years old. This is the implementation stage, the action age. It is the age of massive actions, implementing, implementing, implementing — executing, executing, executing.

Then we have the evening stage, from 51-75 years old. At this stage, not foundational level, not executional level — it is the legacy level. You are to leave a legacy for generations to come, for people. You can be a teacher at this level, teaching and educating the younger generation, the youths about the truth, business, your field and life — impacting knowledge and life applicable teachings.

You are not successful if someone is not succeeding from you. You have no legacy, no matter how rich, connected you are. If you have raise no people through your time at the top. Because you are popular today, don't be deceived, there were people that climb that stage before you are there. And now they are no more, the world doesn't even remember their lights. So when you climb up, help others to climb too; when you are at the top, raise people to be at the top; when you get up, lift people to get up. 

Time is a great investment, and the people you raise today, are your wealth in the tomorrow. The people you help today, are your power in the tomorrow's war. The people you lift up, are your eagles in the storms of life. Be intentional in helping people — not for your gain, but for your legacy to be planted on earth.

If the next generation did not recount your impacts or achievements — you are nothing, you are nobody. Watch Jesus Christ, he raised men, that carry on his legacy and his name to this generation. Follow his steps, if you want to be great.

Then we have the night stage, 75-100 years old. Jesus Christ said in the Bible; the night comes when no man shall work. At this stage, you are a father, resting, life will retire you from working and God will keep you alive to enjoy the season. When you have a strong foundation, good work done and leave a legacy — you will never be down and poor at old age. 

The night stage of life, 75-100 years old. Death can comes at any point, you must make sure you use your time, energy and resources effectively — serve your creator in the days of your youth, because at the night stage, you have no strength to go about strong activities of God. Remember your God in the days of your youth, that at your old age, you will be renew by the grace of God. 

Anyone that make use of his time, energy and resources effectively; well and in service to God first and service to humanity — never get lost, abandoned, and poor at old age; I tell you this. Be productive, not busy — the days are evil, the time is short for everyone under the sun. Time wasted cannot be recovered, but can be redeemed. And the price to redeem wasted time is more costly than having the time much available. Be wise. Be an executive.
