The best and strongest brand to build is your name. A good name is far better than silver and gold — and it is true. Most people think that building a business brand that last for years — is the best. Sorry, you won't be the chief executive forever, you will leave the office one day. You will get out of the institution some day.
Then how did you tend to have access to privileges, opportunities, honour, respect and networks — if you don't have a good name on the wall. Like I do say, to be great you must do good works. Doing good works is the only pathway to greatness in the human world. Good works is the key to greatness, Executive.
And for you to have a great name, make your name great — you must do good works. Do good works, that men may see your light and glorify your heavenly father — even the scripture backed these facts up. So I am not saying anything that just sweet my ears. If your name is not making waves, please sit up!
The most important investment anyone can make is in yourself. It's not taxed at all, they can't inflate it away. They cannot take it from you. The more you learn, the more you earn. You learn today, lead tomorrow. Executive, self-investment is the only asset nobody can take from you. Nobody can take away what you have got in yourself.
So you see why investing in knowledge, is the best strategy that create the actual future you desire. But most people can't, they spend all their time doing what is good but not profitable. You can be doing something that is good but still not profitable, for you to be profitable, you must engage yourself into being productive at what is profitable.
You see generations leveraging on the name of their fathers that have great name — you thought is because their fathers have established a great venture. Sorry, it is a good name, that scale over wealth. When they mention the name Jesus Christ, every knees will bow, name is the best brand to build that last longer after generations even when you are gone.
That's why as you build on your name to be good and a great brand. Pass down the education to your generations, let the education system that made you great — flow from you to your generations. Or else there is nothing left for the fifth generation of yours to hold on. Continuous learning is the pathway to continuous self-development.
Why continuous learning? What you were taught in school is as it was obtained then, you need what is obtain now — for you to be updated and remain relevant in your field. Schooling only makes you literate, it is investment in knowledge, that guarantees you insights — to create the future you desire.
