Diana Marua Bahati is a household name in Kenya who has established herself as a social media influencer and a singer. Additionally, Diana is well known for her involvement in several reality shows. That’s not all; she is also a public figure in the country thanks to her relationship with former gospel musician Bahati.

Actually, her relationship with the musician contributed a lot to her popularity in the country. The two first came across each other while shooting Bahati’s video song. Thereafter, Bahati and Diana Marua labelled each other as prayer partners, and the rest is history. Diana Marua’s early life and background

Diana Bahati’s childhood was very difficult given the fact that she was brought up by a single father without a mother figure. These circumstances forced her to grow up quickly so as to take care of her small sisters. 
While speaking during a previous interview, Marua revealed that they lived each day by the grace of faith that the difficulties would come to an end. 

“Our childhood was tough, one I wouldn’t wish to go back to regardless. Being raised by a single tough dad, we lacked a mother figure all our lives because of circumstances we couldn’t change or control…” Diana revealed in a previous interview.

In fact, Diana’s mother and father had a bad relationship such that they never had a friendly interaction. Diana Marua recalls her dad hitting her mum while breastfeeding one of her siblings. Since then she has never had a good relationship with her dad. Up to date, they’ve never been close.

The Road to Fame

Diana Marua’s breakthrough came when she first met Bahati one-on-one while shooting the latter’s hit song, ‘Mapenzi.’. She was the main vixen of the song. The digital star met Bahati thanks to a deejay who was a friend of both her and Bahati. However, Diana was in a relationship at the time. The relationship didn’t last long as she broke up with her then-boyfriend in the process of shooting Bahati’s video.

Later, the song became a hit song in the country. As a result, Bahati then introduced Diana Marua as his prayer partner. This tag sparked controversies on social media as netizens wanted to know more about prayer partners. Several months later, the two declared their love relationship to the public. Since then they’ve lived together as a couple. They are blessed with 3 kids together; Bahati has another child from a previous relationship and another one who they adopted. 

The Social Media Phenomenon

Apart from family, Diana Marua has become a digital star over the years. Her go-getter approach has not only seen her become a popular content creator but also a successful musician. Additionally, she is an actor, video vixen, content creator, and performer.

Diana Marua Bahati has also established herself as a social media phenomenon in Kenya. For instance, she boasts 3 million followers on Instagram alone. On YouTube, she has over 1.15 million subscribers, while her Facebook page has 1.5 million followers. Diana is definitely an influential figure in the country thanks to her huge social media presence.
