DESOPADEC ANNOUNCES BURSARY FOR ELIGIBLE DELTA STUDENTS, CAUTIONS AGAINST FRAUDSTERS 

The Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC) has announced that its portal is now open to register eligible students for its Bursary scheme.

The State intervention agency disclosed this on its Twitter handle on Saturday, December 10, 2022.

DESOPADEC also hinted students who are qualified for its bursary to be wary of fraudsters as it doesn't collect money from students before registering them as beneficiaries of the scheme.

The message reads: "It is hereby published for the information of the general public, especially Deltans from the mandate oil producing areas of DESOPADEC that the portal for the DESOPADEC Bursary is now open. 

"Please visit the site and register if you are eligible: desopadecbursary.ng" the information reads.

While urging readers to disclose the information of its bursary freely by sharing "with family and friends" it however cautioned "NOTE: DESOPADEC will never charge you for registering for its bursary. Beware of fraudsters."
