Renowned musician, Davido, responds to the public’s outcry regarding the attendance of notable TV personality Toke Makinwa and others at the ongoing COP28 Climate Summit in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Previously, a substantial number of individuals voiced their discontentment with Nigeria’s 1411-member delegation to COP-28, with numerous netizens particularly criticizing the inclusion of socialite Toke Makinwa at the summit in Dubai.

In the midst of the controversy, Davido took to the internet to respond, noting that any Nigerian currently in Dubai might be hesitant to share their photos online. The fear stems from potential criticism, as people might assume they are there for the conference, given the ongoing discussions about Nigeria’s delegation to COP-28.

He added that the outcry regarding the delegate list is amusing, but he still appreciates the response.
