CORONAVIRUS – the Lord says we will overcome

The Coronavirus is gradually losing it invisibility over the world as the people are getting better prepared to confront and overcome it, while the scientist are busy at their laboratories trying to get a curative vaccine, the major religious groups in the world on the other hand are collaborating to conquer this pandemic through prayer.

Muslim all over the world are observing the yearly Ramadan fasting, and since the Coronavirus has grounded religious gathering everywhere, the Muslim are closing rank to make the pandemic topmost prayer points in their list. Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar III, the Sultan of Sokoto advised Muslims to to pray against the coronavirus during the fasting period.

Christian all over the world are making frantic spiritual efforts by declaring fasting and prayer to ask God to end Coronavirus. In Ghana, the Christian association declared a national day of fasting against Coronavirus, on 24th April 2020, the Chairman of the Christian Council of Ghana, Reverend Paul Boafo at a meeting with the President of Ghana Nana Akufo-Addo asked the people of Ghana to come together for 3 day national prayer against COVID-19 pandemic

In Nigeria, Prophet TB Joshua abandoned everything and went on self-exile to a prayer mountain, where he fasted and prayed profusely against the virus, this is posted on his tweeter handle on April 26, 2020.

The world is witnessing a lot of efforts, both personal and collective from the Christian faithful to tackle this problem, some are prophesying, decreeing, praying and fasting. It is not just that the Christians are being religious about the fight against Coronavirus, they are also providing medical assistant by joining the medical official to treat the sick, Pastor Eneche, the General Overseer of the Dunamis Church has taking to his medical profession to help other Doctor in the forefront of this battle, Churches are providing ambulance, ventilators, test kits, nose mask, as well as food for the needy.

It sure that Coronavirus is coming to an end very soon, it is either a vaccine will be found to cure the virus, or there will be miraculous deliverance of the infected and a miraculous stop to it spread, those at the hospital bed suffering from this virus should not give up hope, because help is on the way.
