Condolences from Oluwo and other monarchs following Alayemore’s passing

Upon the sad news of the passing of Oba Aderemi Adedapo, the Alayemore of Ido-osun, the National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria paid a visit to his grieving family.

The demise of Oba Adedapo, who breathed his last at the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital Complex in Ile-Ife on Friday, has deeply touched the Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, as conveyed in a condolence message signed by his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed.

Leading a delegation of traditional rulers to offer their sympathies was the Oluwo of Iwo land, Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, who shared the news on his official Facebook page.

In his words, Oba Akanbi expressed, “Today, representing the National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria, I, the Paramount Ruler of Iwoland, HIM Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, led the Aragbiji of Iragbiji, HRM Oba Abdulrasheed Olabomi, and the Olororuwo of Ororuwo to pay condolences to the wives, princes, chiefs, and the entire community of Ido-Osun, Osun State, on the passing of the Alayemore of Ido-Osun, HRM Oba (Dr.) Aderemi Adeen Adedapo.

“The entire council recognized his significant contributions to the Nigerian traditional council and prayed for his shortcomings to be forgiven.”
