CJI Gavai 'attacked': Lawyer suspended for throwing shoe; more action likely

Advocate Rakesh Kishore has been suspended from practicing law nationwide after allegedly attempting to throw a shoe at Chief Justice of India B R Gavai during Supreme Court proceedings. The Bar Council of India cited the act as a violation of professional ethics and dignity of the court. Kishore shouted slogans related to Sanatan Dharma before being restrained by security.
