Chukwueze

Samuel Chukwueze has been nominated for Fulham’s Goal of the Month award for January following his decisive strike against Brighton & Hove Albion.

The Nigerian winger earned the nomination for his goal in Fulham’s 2–1 Premier League victory over Brighton at Craven Cottage. With Marco Silva’s side trailing 1–0, Chukwueze produced a moment of quality in the 72nd minute, controlling a superb pass from Joachim Andersen before finishing calmly to turn the game on its head.

The goal underlined Chukwueze’s growing influence since joining the Cottagers on loan from AC Milan last summer. The 26-year-old has enjoyed an impressive run of form, registering five goals and two assists in 11 league appearances for Marco Silva’s side.

Competition for the January award is strong, with Harry Wilson leading the nominations list with four goals in contention. Chukwueze will also face challenges from teammates and academy standouts, including Tom Cairney, Harrison Reed, Jade Bradley, Aaron Loupalo-Bi, Kevin, Farhaan, and Ali Wahid.

The winner of Fulham’s Goal of the Month award will be decided by a fan vote, with Chukwueze hoping his clinical finish against Brighton earns him his first individual honour since arriving in west London.
