Railways responsible for 153 million passenger trips (+2.6%) while Waterways saw 11.67 million passengers (+4.2%).

Civil aviation handled 19.17 million (+3.4%) while road network saw about 2.25 billion passenger trips (+6.5%.

A trending footage captured by drone shows thousands of vehicles lined up at China’s busiest toll station at Wuzhuang as travelers head home during the last day of the 8-day National Day on Wednesday.

The aerial footage taken at night shows endless lines of red lights as more 120,000 vehicles crawls through the Wuzhuang toll plaza, which boasts 36 lanes in both directions.
