Suspended Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk has been banned from driving for six months after accumulating 13 penalty points on his licence within 18 months.

The Lavender Hill magistrates’ court confirmed the ban, alongside a £660 fine, £130 in costs, and a £266 victim surcharge.

The Ukraine international, who pleaded guilty in writing, was clocked driving 36mph in a 20mph zone on January 24, 2025, despite already holding eight penalty points.

He now has until September 17 to settle a total court bill of £1,056.

Met Police officer Andrew Kinsella, who pulled him over, noted that Mudryk initially ignored stop signals before eventually pulling over in Strath Terrace.

Meanwhile, the 23-year-old has been provisionally suspended from football since December 2024 after testing positive for a banned substance.

He was formally charged in June with violating anti-doping rules and could face a ban of up to four years if found guilty.

Mudryk, who joined Chelsea from Shakhtar Donetsk in a £89m deal in January 2023, surrendered his No.10 shirt to Cole Palmer ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
