Chelsea intensify their pursuit of Napoli’s Victor Osimhen.

Chelsea are preparing their opening offer for Nigeria international Victor Osimhen, according to reputed journalist Gianluca Di Marzio. Enzo Maresca’s side is actively searching for a new No. 9 this summer despite already signing Marc Guiu from Barcelona.

The club has had a long-standing interest in Osimhen and has been closely monitoring the Napoli forward. However, Chelsea is proposing a loan deal, while Osimhen prefers a permanent transfer. Additionally, the Super Eagles striker is reportedly seeking a high salary.

Osimhen is also attracting interest from Al-Ahli, who reportedly have a deal in place with Napoli for his transfer, although he has yet to agree to the move.

Chelsea has intensified their pursuit of Osimhen but wants to secure the deal on their terms. As a result, Osimhen may need to lower his wage demands if he wishes to join the club.
