Cement Mixer Shot

The Cement Mixer shot recipe (aka Concrete Mixer) is the most polarizing shot EVER—you will either love it or hate it. Made by combining Irish cream liqueur and lime juice this shot curdles in your mouth. I repeat, this shot is an intentionally curdled texture. Hence the name—cement mixer. This shot has the texture of uncured cement (or more accurately, cottage cheese).

Whether you are drinking this ironically, as a dare or for some other reason, most humans will never understand this is definitely a drink you MUST enjoy in front of an audience. It is hilarious.

Ingredients

• Irish Cream Liqueur – Such as Bailey’s.
• Lime Juice – Freshly squeezed.

You can use any classic shot glass to serve this drink. You won’t need a cocktail shaker or any other tools—you can build this recipe right in the shot glass.

Instructions

In a shot glass, pour one part chilled Irish cream liqueur. 

Next, pour an equal part lime juice. An interesting chemical reaction will take place—you can see the curdle happen almost instantly. If you want a quicker reaction, you can give it a gentle stir. 

Serve immediately. It gets thicker by the minute.
