Catholic children in the Holy Land suffer persecution

Jason Jones traveled to southern Lebanon with his 18-year-old son on a humanitarian mission to assist vulnerable Christian communities caught between Israel and Hezbollah. They slept in villages while nearby bombing repeatedly shook their building. They traveled through dangerous territory and passed the aftermath of deadly attacks. Through the Vulnerable People Project, Jones’s team visited isolated Christian villages, organized festivals for hundreds of children, celebrated the Feast of the Assumption with local Christians, and developed a plan to help these communities survive the coming winter.
