“Call To Bar Holds July 7–10” — Nigerian Law School Opens Online Screening June 1, Directs Candidates To Pay ₦85,000 In Mandatory Fees

The Council of Legal Education, Nigerian Law School, has announced that the Call to Bar ceremonies for successful candidates in the December 2025 Bar Final Examinations will hold from Tuesday, July 7 to Friday, July 10, 2026.

According to a notice issued by the Council, the ceremonies will take place at the Body of Benchers Complex, Abuja. Candidates were advised to log in to their portal to check their respective Call dates.

The notice further stated that the online screening exercise will commence on June 1, 2026, ahead of the Call to Bar ceremonies.

The Council directed candidates to make two mandatory payments as part of the process. These include a ₦25,000 alumni fee through the Council’s Remita account and a ₦50,000 Body of Benchers Call to Bar fee through the designated Body of Benchers account.

The notice listed the Body of Benchers account details as follows: Account Number, 10157156977; Account Name, Body of Benchers Call to the Bar; Bank, Zenith Bank.

For the online screening process, candidates are to visit the screening portal at nigerianlawschoolclearance.com, click on “Get Started,” and enter their Application Number and Examination Number.

Candidates whose records appear on the portal are required to copy or save their transaction number and proceed to payment.

The Council directed candidates to make a payment of ₦10,000 using the provided bank details and ensure that their transaction number is used as the payment narration.

After payment, candidates are required to send a copy of their payment receipt to payment@nigerianlawschoolclearance.com for confirmation.

The email must include the candidate’s full name, transaction number and date of payment.

According to the notice, once payment is confirmed, candidates’ login details will be sent to their email within 24 hours.

They are then expected to log in, complete the screening form accurately, attach all required documents and submit.

For complaints, candidates were advised to contact support@nigerianlawschoolclearance.com.
